I'll say this about Saleh. He went from having his defense not being a able to tackle anyone and calling the most useless blitzes in the league to making them stop people at first contact and giving Warner tons of pressures and sacks with well timed blitzes.

I still think we have too much talent on D that any good DC could do a great job with them as long as we keep the 3-4 and Kokurek, but he has made a legit leap this year with this unit.

he started calling blitzes in seattle game and last night's game mostly because they would double team bosa. especially last night, once light was in for bulaga, they put bosa on the left side with buck or armstead and ran stunts with warner coming on blitzes so light wouldnt have help. it worked last night, less so with seattle but yeah I wouldnt call those blitzes super impressive as some kind of genius ones. I think they primarily work because the defense is so much better.

youre right about tackling, but I think thats also a product of the team playing better and guys stepping it up. players dont give a shyt about sacrificing their body for a shytty team in meaningless games like last year
