ppl really wanted armstead gone? he's a solid player and still young (26). if he's getting out played by other players at his position then that makes sense but he's been contributing. thomas is the big question mark at this point. i feel like the 9ers can find his replacement pretty easily in the draft with a late round pick.

So you want to resign Armstead who had been injury prone 90% his career to another contract long term contract I could see if he stayed on the field but that's too risky.

Yes.... Cuz atleast Armstead injuries been legit game injuries. Not like he has a history of getting injured just walking to his car like Ward

idk what type of money he's asking for but calling him injury prone isn't right. he's played in 57/75 games so far into his career.

if another DT steps up and can fill the void of armstead then sure you can let him walk but i think it's better to resign him and keep the chemistry of the team together if the contract demand isn't stupid.

If he's performing well because of who he plays with, i'd say keep him because he'll still be playing with those guys. he's showing that he can win one on one battles and that's what this team needs from him. I think at some point, they'll have to draft another outside rusher to replace Ford, to keep salaries balanced.

But you can't have an injury filled roster and contend every year
