I wish I could see how many dropped picks Jimmy has benefitted from in his eight games as a starter. Seems like he has a lot of luck in that department and I still aint forgot that bonehead INT he threw in the Lions game last year.

That’s how I’m looking at it.
It’s like everyone discrediting our DBs like “oh they some trash, how the fukk Jimmy throwing 5 picks”
Instead of “damn maybe them dudes really are some dogs back there”
I think if we had the pass rush last year to get to QBs and not give them 8-14 seconds in the pocket. We would’ve saw how good they were last year. But guys can’t be covering niccas for like 20 seconds

I'm on the "show me when the real games begin" mindset with this team. I honestly don't buy shyt from the training camp reports anymore, I'm done believing that stuff, I think the last thing they got 100% right was Aldon Smith being a beast from day 1.
And it's really hard to gauge our defense when the OLine they face every day is atrocious.

I think its a bit more troubling. I hope Im wrong. Jimmy locks on receivers and thinks he can make the play, when the throw is really tough....and theres another guy running open with a super easy throw right there.Hopefully he channels the good parts of
one thing that truly separates great qbs and good qbs with lots of talent, is understanding to not try too much on every play. some plays are better off dead than forced by throwing the ball away/taking a sack, and some plays sometimes its just better to wait out, make an easy pitch and catch than a laser needle threading hands in a tight window
tom brady is a great example of this.
I almost consider trent taylor going down for a few weeks as a blessing in disguise (bear with me). Jimmy relied on TT too much to start last year. Teams start to jump shyt. He really needs to spread stuff out and just take what the defense gives. He started the camp doing the same shyt. Kittle and TT, TT and Kittle.
just my 2 cents. not trying to say sky is falling or anything, but a lot of his picks come as not
but simply trying to do too much on a play. theyre not braindead dumb like late favre's, most of them are just a result of him trying to do too much.
