Preseason Game vs the Cowboys

The Good:

Nick Mullens played a solid game and should be the #2 QB without doubt. He seemed in control of the offense and even after throwing an INT nevel lost his cool.

Jalen Hurd looked like a man playing against boys. I think we found another rwd zone target. He plays with a head full of steam.

Damontre Moore showed that he is a veteran defensive lineman and showed it all game.

The Bad

Penalties on offense and defense with this type of frequency is unacceptable. If the Cowboys backup QBs weren't trash we would have lost.

Adrian Colbert is becoming a liability if he doesn't fix it he will get cut.

Too many injuries. AGAIN. So the team was mums about Trent Taylors foot sugery and Shon Coleman broke his leg. Wr me may have to sign a free agent tackle.

He's gotta clean that up, he's a punishing hitter, but that type of play also bites him him the azz because it he misses the hit it's a huge gain for opposing offenses. He needs to learn to hit clean and go from there. He's not good enough to be going for the killshot all the time especially since these hits get flagged a lot more often. If he continues to draw flags like that then he has to be limited to primarily special teams. But that's what camp/preseason is for.
