At the end of the day its just a movie..

I'm super excited about it, got tickets already and I buy in to the "its good for our community/ Hollywood/ culture/ blah blah"
but I'm not getting too deep about it. Investing emotions into it.. Na

I remember getting all deep about Get Out to the point it wore me out.. Then it hit me its just a fukkin movie.


Six months from now black panther will be airing on HBO 5 times a day just like GetOut is now and won't NOBODY be talking about it anymore. As great as a movie is or as much hype as it gets it comes to a point where it runs its course and that's it.


You couldn't pay me to sit down and watch GetOut right now but when it came out I was so geeked I think I took two hoes to the theater to watch it and saw it on bootleg a dozen times just to reanalyze the "greatest movie ever"...

But then yall don't want to say how much the people who funded and created it must love black people enough to fund and create and be a ally to black people.
