Yeah I know. People will confuse the shyt out of me because I spoke "white" and wasn't "black" enough to be black, but I wasn't hispanic enough to be dominican. So I just became asian?
The most hilarious thing to me is that the first person who responded to this thread actually had the nerve in another thread to refer to AROD being a sell out to repping fellow Dominicans and bringng up points like his blonde highlights(Which I am not saying isn't true). But the whole thing was ironic because he was not just talking about one Dominican, he was talking about Dominicans on a whole feeling this way when statistcally that would tell you at least one of them while calling AROD a sell out, pretends they aren't black.
They have a problem with it because they go by the "their is always an exception" rule. When you are making points in a discussion argument, use the word "always" and "alot", instead of "most" or "all".
IF we are saying "always" and "alot" to address big problems like these, there is no way in hell we can be called wrong. Because the bottom line is the whole thing is the truth. There is no way of getting around it.

Puerto Rico is like this too. One of the reasons the Ricans from the Island hate Nuyoricans (Ricans from NY) is that they are too Afrocentric. They intermingle with Blacks, marry and have children with Blacks, and even try to make it seem like Ricans are Black. The Island Ricans consider themselves White, and are very Eurocentric.
In PR, they have a "One Drop White" Rule. Basically the opposite what we go by in America. And they have a different idea of what Black is. Over there, you aren't Black unless you have black skin with coarse hair and SSA features. Like somebody in Ethiopia would not be considered Black in PR. And over there, a person with coarse hair, SSA features, and yellow skin would be considered White in PR, as opposed to the U.S. where they would be considered Black.
It's a shame the racism that goes on in Latin America. Just as bad as the U.S. The only Latin American countries that accept and embrace their Blackness are Haiti and Martinique. And they aren't even considered to be Latinos (even though they really are).

My point was that there are ignorant people within every group. It seems as if you look down on blacks from amerikkka as a whole because of your need to go out of your way to distinguish yourself. No, I'm not trying to "claim" you. This isn't about me "wanting" you to be an AA. I do take issue with non Amerikkkan blacks who have the nerve to look down their nose at us though. You deny being that type of person but your comments suggest otherwise. The whites and other non blacks in this world couldn't care less that you've got a non Amerikkkan accent, you're still just a ****** to them. It's smart to recognize who is who and what is what.
