this ados stuff needs to be strictly about black politics. i dont care about about what this woman does in her private life. i do know that politicians like her and obama are not as centered in the nuances of ados life as people assume they are, and their political perspectives might be affected by that. this means you have to treat them like you would a white politician - really, you cant even "trust" an ados politician, but you really, really cant trust non ados politicians. this is important because the democrat party has a strategy of offering symbolism in place of tangibles to ados. they trot out the candidacy of black immigrant types as a sign of progress maybe with the implication that they will look out for us in some capacity, as long as we just dont require anything real upfront. obama appears to have ruined that and now ados want to be spoken to in the same way other interest groups are. this is a good thing for us, but probably a bad thing for all other minorities since it means less ability to ride coattails while ados take all the heat in the process of improving american society for all underdogs. i understand why hit dogs are hollering now, but things are getting so bad for millennial blacks that being political martyrs is just not that popular anymore.
also, the ados distinction is crucial in the fight for reparations. it is not hate, it is a process.
that being said, these right wingers chiming in are the enemy and should be ignored; never cosigned.
What’s the difference between a black baby growing up in the US with black parents and a black baby growing up in the US with Nigerian parents? Both are black kids and both are going to be socialized as and treated as blacks in America. With this logic you just invalidated Obama’s entire Presidency.
