There is no two way about this Black Panther fight scenes were weak.

No one hates anything, if you go back to the black Panther thread you will see my glowing review. You can critique things you like, the movie was fantastic but pointing out flaws and them acknowledging them will only lead to a better sequel.

You can love a thing and still critique it breh. I loved infinity war but the cg on ruffalo in the hulkbuster suit and Rhodey in the war machine suit was putrid and ILM is normally A LOT better than that.

The fight scenes in black panther especially the first one in the jungle, reminded me of Nolan’s work in Batman begins. So hopefully it gets better

the cgi lowered the quality of the fight scenes imo. the waterfall fights were good but any fight scene involving cgi was weak because it looked disappointing so right away i lost some interest.

The weakness of the final fight stands out because of:

1. Poor CGI.
2. Excellent waterfall fights with M'Baku/Killmonger.

The only weak fight scene was Chadwick in the casino everything else is a reach. The problem is that fight scene is early on so it sticks in your mind

Yea a lot of overreacting. However, when everything else is so great the flaws will standout more.

Civil War fight scenes are better....but when you really watch (especially the Blu-ray version) the fights in BP aren't poor.

Civil War just had those "iconic" shots that made it seem even more badass. Coogler kept the Waterfall fights grounded/realistic. Just like he did with Creed.

In the Panther fit he didn't have those moments like catching Hawkeye's arrow, doing his pose before fighting Bucky, clawing Cap's shield. Those moments elevated the fights. Just the camera lingering on certain shots


Also as with the Civil War/Infinity War they really do polish up the CGI on Panther.

Black Panther by making it TWO Panthers, fighting in a CGI area...makes it difficult to enjoy as much. This is where Coogler probably should have just made Killmonger wear something different and fight out by the Sunset so it could be clear. Having said that they definitely polished it up somewhat in comparison to the theater.

I loved TChalla v MBaku
Killmonger v TChalla 1st first.
Casino fight.
Dora v Killmonger was quite good.

I didnt care for the large war on the fields or the Panther v panther fight.

the final fight between bp and killmonger was completely uninspired too
