1. Whichever city gets selected to host the semifinals & the championship game won't have problems selling tickets. Fans from both teams will LINE up to be at The Final Four of Football.

2. The season gets extended by one or 2 weeks at most. They could push bowl games up into Dec so that Jan 1 is the national championship game (like it used to be).

3. It IS settled on the field breh. A semifinal game & a championship game. That never happened in the BCS & is a key reason they're moving away from it now

bruh it'll be fans there but it'll be so expensive sure the millionaire boosters dont have a problem but students will. what it gon look like a college champ game with barely any students cuz they're broke.
and it still won't be settled on the field. who gets put in the playoffs will be up to the committee. there will be just a good of an argument for why the #5 team should be in there for as much as the #4 team. people will decide who should be there. so will the champion be decided on the field:yes. but is it the same process to how they get there: basically yes.

But as a fan why do you care what schools make money? this is good for cfb giving us playoff games thats more important then a school president getting richer

2 and 3 are ridiculous. The bowl organizations aren't moving their games OFF of new years day just to appease the final four system...how do u even suggest you do that with title games and christmas??? Nonsense.

And no, it ISN'T settled on the field. The teams who get a chance to "win" the paper championship are decided in a board room of old folks with unspeakable bias. LOL @ the thought of a boise state or tcu getting a bid ever in history to this final 4. They at least got fiesta bowl bids before. Now they're fukked worse than the theoretical 11 win big conference teams I described. Not a chance, even if they go undefeated they're not sniffing this system.

This is easily the worst thing they could've crafted.

What are the ticketing rules for students and alumni?

What if

Who gets the home game tiebreaker if there is a 1 loss ranked higher than an undefeated?

Realignment means that strength of schedule should no longer be a factor to the poll computers.
