Hall of fame career no doubt.
But 0 MVP’s.
And he’s going to lose out this season to a 2nd year player.

Brees unfortunately had all his MVP-like years overshadowed by even more impressive ones by other players. That's why he's never won an MVP

2006: Led the downtrodden Saints to the NFC Championship. Same year that LT averaged over 110 yards per game and 28 TDs as he led the Chargers to a 14-2 record

2009: Saints start 13-0 and win the Super Bowl. However Peyton Manning and the Colts start the season 14-0 and only lose when the starters are pulled, whereas the Saints lost straight up to the Cowboys that year

2011: Brees throws for 46 TDs and breaks the passing yardage record, but is overshadowed by Aaron Rodgers who led the Packers to a 15-1 record and sets the passer rating record

2018: At age 39 helps the Saints to the #1 seed in the NFC. Just so happens to be the same year that Mahomes throws for 5000 yards and 50 TDs as the Chiefs also grab the #1 seed in the AFC

He could've easily won MVP in any of these years if there wasn't extraordinary seasons from other players

Sadly, yes :francis:

Meanwhile, when Mattop Ryan and "All Lives Matter" Cam won theirs, the other QBs conveniently had down years. :stopitslime:
