Breh some sistas be trying to cancel black male actors cause they with a white women. Best believe obama doesn't get out the primaries if Michelle is white...especially if you factor in white folks too. Who do not like black men with white women.
His support from black women would hve been less, 100%
I know many women who told me they really voted for Michelle when voting for Obama.
Also, Sasha and Malia would have been 1/4th... so basically they would have looked 100% white to most of America.
I'm not gonna say he would have lost, but it would have been world different. I doubt he would have been seen as black by some people.

I agree with both posts. That would have hurt him on a national level.Sure did have next. Guess what they were saying behind the scenes why he couldn't run and what would fukk him up.

He was really being groomed for a Pres. run. He got stopped when he ran for Senator.
Jesse Jackson Jr. was being groomed too. I thought he had the most going for him and the best chance. +the photogenic Black wife.

Now if we are going to keep it 100, wasn't just the fact the Michelle was Black hat helped Obama.The fact that she was,technically, just as accomplished career wise before he got into politics played well to certain women. Fact that she was unambiguously Black played well to certain women.
On that note, I have to bring up pulling my neighbor's card. She's a complexion watcher, and if a famous Black man's BLACK wife is too light, she would call him names and make judgments.
I couldn't resist asking her if those names and judgements applied also to Michelle Obama for marrying a light skinned man.
Asked her that 7 years ago, still waiting for a response.

Why didn’t we as black ppl view Herman Cain similarly to Obama?
He had a black wife and black kids.

There's a definitive answer to this. Even Barack knew he couldn't win without being married to a black woman. Which is why he left the love of his life (an asian woman) to find him someone palatable to the black community.
