They not gonna know Mike Will Made It?

They not gonna know DJ Mustard?

Metro Boomin? 808 Mafia?

Zaytovin, Scott Storch, Cool & Dre, Kanye West?
Nope. People really don’t pay attention to producers in real life. They’ll know a couple producers names like Timbaland and Pharrell because they made songs too

I disagree. Every decade your gonna know the basic names. You just named 2. There's no way you will convince me DJ Mustard and Mike Will aren't house hold names to this current generation. The average person who is around hip hop knows who Dr Dre Pete Rock and Preemo are. And in a way u proved my point...They'll know a couple names like Timbo and Pharrel but never has their ever been a females name on such a level...

Mustard and Mike Will aren't really household names though. They've produced huge records, but it's not like if you drop their names people will know who they are without naming songs they did. Dre, Pharrell, and Timbaland are names people know without having to list songs they produced.

But I did specify "Current generation" when speaking on mustard and mike....Plus I think they gonna know Mustard and Mike at the barbershop......Unless its a Dominican barbershop or a barbershop ran by some old head......The hood barbershops gonna know those names....the high school kids know those names...Mike was rumored for dating Miley Cyrus. And regardless....The statement still stands even if we talking on the level of Dre and Pharell....There has never been 1 female in that same category.

women don't have the analytical mindset nor the patience to be producers..they are emotional creatures who can only react (dance...cry...laugh) and are not capable of any original creative process developing in thier brains which is why thier are so few women who actually write lyrics...

at least that's what i heard someone say :mjpls:

Just to put this in perspective, when they were looking for producers to do music on Empire, Lee Daniel's kids suggested Timbaland. At the time, Mustard was all over the radio. Mustard and Mike Will were the dominant producers, but neither were brought on.
