Walking in and seeing how nice it looked
All black customers from all walks of life and all black staff
Friendly people making sure you're good every step of the way
I'm pleased brehs. And glad that I actually stopped inside of the branch instead of just setting it up online. The energy I felt doing business there is hard to describe. I'll be doing a lot with them in the future.

I been telling nikkas for a strong 18 month to put their money in a black bank, glad some dudes are finally listening. It's the best customer service I've ever had.
I got my girl to open one up and she was shocked because when she walked in they remembered her and greeted her by name.
To keep it 100 I get better customer service from black owned businesses than I do from white ones.

I'm in NY so I don't have one anymore I dont think since that one bank we spoke about in either here or in another thread that was iN NYC sold out because of bankruptcy and they could not hold out and have dignity
Anyway your story of One United Bank got me inspired now...im gonna apply for the online banking.
I bet if you were to ask them for a personal loan you probably have an easier time getting than you would from the selfish banks like Citibank right?

And the one lady in the review who put "I was so happy to discover a Black owned bank until..." blah blah blah....is a clown. Our people just dont think things through.
Now in terms of her overall review I dont criticize anything else she said if you had a bad experience then you had a bad experience...but why the hell was it necessary for her to bring up it being a Black owned bank in an unecssary way...just say you would not recommend the bank for the experience.
I know she did not go on that whole "this is why Black folks dont have businesses' bullshyt our parents love to say...but it wasn't much different what she said... just gets me so frustrated. basically dry snitched on her and her friend towards the end and through her race under the bus. Just give the bad review of the company and say you wont recommend it and leave it at that...has to bring in some internal fighting for no reason.
