Therapy speak terminology that makes you cringe in 2024

I've had a version of the gaslight convo a few times. People just use it for "lie" or "mislead", but it's very different.

it reduces all these words into nothing. It validates whatever nonsense someone is saying with faux therapy speak.

Gaslight, Toxic, Narcisscist. Toxic is totally meaningless, maybe always was.

Gaslight = singular lie in this day and age. I heard someone use gaslight and lie interchangeably at work today but I didn't have the energy or reserves of caring to try and correct it
