I'm not saying that democrats have to abandon trans people just deemphasize that shyt. Defend them where it matters but be the party for workers, education and upward mobility. Anytime TYT used to post videos complaining about transphobia it would be more dislikes than likes anytime they complained about Dave Chapelle more dislikes than likes. Anytime a guy like Bill Mayher was being 'transphobic' more likes than dislikes and comments like I used to be liberal but...and finally a liberal talking sense! because the advocacy of that group and them forcing themselves into the conversation has been annoying. They were forced and over represented in media and they became content and an easy layup for grifters to make a career out of being "brave enough" to against them. JK Rowling used to be mocked for changing Dumbledore gay and advocating for a black Hermini she just didn't like how the word woman was being erased to be more inclusive and made her thoughts publicly known immediately she was attacked legacy questioned and kicked to the curb. Problem was JK has fukk you money so she accepted her role as a villain and has been an outspoken opp ever since and is as known for being their rival as she is for writing wizard books. This is something ive been talking about because it is one of the biggest issues brought up by people on the right. Less than 1% of the population, most people have NEVER met a trans person, most trans kids are not transitioning young, yet people fixate on them. They also completely ignore that there are trans men (ive met several due to the nature of my work. You would not know they were trans just looking at them.)

Trans rhetoric only hurts because of hateful ass right wingers. It literally is one of those things that does not effect most peoples lives but people in the country are willing to bush all common sense over it. Im not shocked though because gay panic and trans panic has literally been used by every regime led by strong men. Yup, while she was blown out, it was more about losing by small margins everywhere, rather than by large amounts in a few places. There were multiple paths for her to win but yea…elections are won and lost ob small margins. The hate campaign and the ghost of inflation did her in.
