Question brehs. Outside of load times does a game specifically have to be on the "enhanced" lists to see improvements. I tried Dark Souls 3 and noticed it was still running at 30 FPS. Will this be the same for everything not explicitly enhanced?

We are still specifically waiting on a 60fps upgrade from From Software for this game or to at least unlock the game. I'm going to guess that Microsoft is going to look at this game too so we may get that done.

Dark Souls 3 was 30 fps locked on Xbox One and PS4 originally but PS4 pro was released a couple months after the game was and received a patch that unlocked the framerate. Because of that, PS5 can max that out to a full 1080 60fps while Xbox Series X is stuck with the 900p 30fps it got unless From Software releases a patch, and honestly I wouldn't hold my breath. The one shot we have is that the backwards compatibility team at xbox have learned to not only enhance resolutions but also framerates so Dark Souls 3 could be one of the games that get this treatment in the future

Wonder if Doom Eternal is updated? I want to start it soon.

Doom Eternal is supposed to be getting a next gen patch pretty soon, for now tho you should be getting a solid 60fps experience
