The load times don’t seem that great to me compared to what i saw on the ps5 dev kit times.
It sounds like it’s gonna be true that the xbox will be the more powerful system in terms of 4k/120fps gaming and ps5 will be the faster system at 1440p/60fps with the faster loading times.

Is load times really that big a deal to nikkas? The only load screen I’ve ever hated was GTA V. Everything else is whatever.The load times don’t seem that great to me compared to what i saw on the ps5 dev kit times.

For games where you die a lot it is (soulsborne games) there’s also the ability to use it as a gameplay mechanic like in R&C and load new zones seamlessly.
There’s also the idea where a lot of people still don’t even ahve true 4k sets that are even capable of 120fps gameplay. Those are most likely Oleds/Qleds, most people a re gaming on budget 4k sets aren’t even capable of checkerboarding

Because we’ve seen the ps5 load some of these titles also and they were loading in just a few seconds, someo f these are still a minute-half a minute or just shaving a few seconds off the total times.
