Not even that, just buy some 2tb external hdds that be on sale for like 40 dollars constantly on amazon and use those as cold storage on the Xbox, when ready to play just transfer the game to the SSD which will be quicker than how games transfer now

I wouldn't believe it as true, but if we're going to speculate and see it as an all digital Series X, then they'd be just about meeting PlayStation at every step. Series S to grab the casual market or young gamer, Series V to counter the PS5 DE, Series X to counter the PS5 with disc drive. So if you exclude the S, then it's like for like. It doesn't make a ton of sense to me because then you'll probably have 3 products, each $100 apart. Seems like too much to me. Since the rumor is they're taking a bigger loss on the S vs the X, it would have made more sense to have the V and X only, and just price the V somewhere between 299 and 399.
Personally don't care if the Series V exists, it doesn't change the landscape on a hardware internals level.
