World Cup warm up matches are notoriously a poor predictor for performance in the tournament. I’m not confident in France simply because of Deschamps, but I don’t doubt they will look different on the first matchday. I think they ( incredibly) have far more match winners than they did in 2016 on this squad. First major tournament with Dembele, Mbappe, and Fekir.

Can Fekir control tempo? Kante and a liberated Pogba could really create damage but need someone who can control the tempo.
