I agree 100%. The offense still isn't clicking which is worrisome going deep into the later rounds. Especially against Germany or France. Ugh...they got to adjust quickly.

Now looking at this match, if Carli Lloyd and Alex Morgan can start playing better offensively.....it's a wrap for the other teams as they are the two main players that can generate a strong attack frame.

Quiet as its kept Johnston and Klingenberg been our most solid players by FAR. But if there are players I want to be solid it's my defenders.

France and Germany would feast on our midfield. From what ive seen were not good enough to beat those two. I think we have the talent but the way this team plays, it just isnt good enough
. The 4-4-2 is stale and Abby still shouldnt be starting. I understand why she started today but going forward she shouldn't start.

Yeah....playing Germany as we are now would be really bad. I'm confident that proper adjustments will be made as there is just so much potential out there not being utilized properly. I think the biggest thing for me watching this team play is no sense of urgency. It's as if they're on cruise control while trying to figure out what is the most effective attacking piece. One plus is that Alex Morgan has played a full 90 minute game, so it'll be huge going forward. I'm wondering next game if they'll go to a 4-4-3. That would be ideal for this team.

I'd play a 3-5-3. And move Klingenberg up. And line Press and Rapinoe out wide with Morgan in the middle
