I really enjoyed this movie. The representation was great and the women projected strength without it being shoved down our throat. It was some gems in there that were so simple, yet profound IMO. I wouldn't mind a prequel series.

I liked the subtle message how the Kings "bad-bytches" wanted to keep shyt the same by keeping their own people enslaved for riches, and the women that were bout that action, wanted it to end and were ready to bleed for that end. I felt like that mirrors society today.
