Why can't we just like both for different reasons and not try to put one over the other?

honestly i couldn't even vote cause i loved them both for such different reasons. they each got their pros and cons over the other.

and imo they both lose a lil sumthin on repeat viewings. breaking bad because it relied so heavily on suspense and the wire because of all the exposition and rhetoric.



sidenote: noticing that the coli brethen really don't fukk wit female characters... like AT ALL. kinda silly.

But they're written so horribly it makes you want to jump through the screen and choke them. I can't really think of one really great female character that I'd put in my top 10.

The Wire and its not even close. I loved Breaking Bad though

Not really comparable. The Wire had 10x as many characters, which means more stories to tell and more depth to reach.

I think season one and four of the wire are probably the best of out of each series but overall I thought Breaking Bad was more consistent
