You should have made this a THE WIRE vs THE SOPRANOS battle since the Sopranos are constantly mentioned as being the best show ever around here. That is the more valid argument.
There have been all sorts of posts/threads where people say how BB is not on the same level as those two shows.
The wire and its not even close.
Bb has no replay value since the shows writing never went past surface deep and relied heavily on tension.

I think breaking bad had better character development and cinematography, if that's the word I'm looking for. The wire had better writing and acting. I give a slight edge to the wire considering it's unappreciation o in the outer world compared to bb. But I can't vote on this. Love them both.
