Seen the first 2 seasons.

It just...i dont think the acting is all that good. I dont really see what the character arc is supposed to be for Tony
You trippin but to each his own. Show had the most underlying depth of any show ive seen.

It's a super popular show.
It just doesnt speak to me.

Mafia guys...jokes...c*nty kids/wives...

I guess, well the show began like 20 years ago so if I'm judging it by the shows at that time...

:manny:

Like, personally I wouldnt put it on Breaking Bad or The Wire's level.

It is trash but is it game of thrones bad though?
two different things really.

i hate both them seasons and i don't plan on rewatching either of those shows any time soon because of how they ended, despite liking/loving the first 80% of them.

always felt it was overrated until I legit realized it was intended to be as much a comedy as it was a drama (as stated by the writer himself)...gave me a whole new appreciation of the series when I rewatched it...what made me look into that was cats here kept reposting clips and I just found myself laughing @ them shyts hard as hell...a lot of the humor went over my head when I watched it many years back (not saying that’s the case w/ you)
I think as a gangster story and following the machinations of treachery and greed it was kinda weak. They used the "X gangster is back from jail or wherever and is now causing havoc in present day NJ." too many times. But as a show that is giving you a look at the lives of a subculture you don't often see on TV they did that the better than almost any show. The lifestyle, slang and just overall slice of life of Italian Americans in NJ is done perfectly.

...also I was not a fan of the jimmy darmondy character like everyone else was...I understood his plight but still felt his character was a huge drag on the show and unfortunately he was too integral a character to overlook...I think that had a huge impact on my enjoyment of the series the 2nd time around

on the flip side dr. narcisse is probably one of my top 5 TV drama characters
Dude and his fake Leo DiCaprio impression was wack
