first 3 seasons were great...but the show went to absolute shyt after that imo...I’d say it’s a toss up between em
They killed him off because the actor was so unbearable on set.
Boardwalk Empire was a B+ show. And I never liked Season 3 either, Gyp Rosetti was annoying as fukk.

BWE was good, but I never had the feeling of wanting to watch it again. Id actually put SOA over BWE.
Like others have said, killing Jimmy so early was a mistake. They should have played the real life guys up more. Only one that really stood out (imo) was Capone, but he was annoying in this.

Felt like the show fell off after seasons 1 and 2. season 3 was some straight up cartoon mafia shyt, gyp rosettia was way too over the top. no gangsters was gonna stand for that behavior. felt like show jumped the shark with that.

always felt it was overrated until I legit realized it was intended to be as much a comedy as it was a drama (as stated by the writer himself)...gave me a whole new appreciation of the series when I rewatched it...what made me look into that was cats here kept reposting clips and I just found myself laughing @ them shyts hard as hell...a lot of the humor went over my head when I watched it many years back (not saying that’s the case w/ you)
