Honestly, the idea came from him indirectly
It was said a few years ago that he himself went to CAA for help me in growing his social media brand just like The Rock did. Red Table Talk likely would never happened had it not followed heavily in that route. The signs were always there with the stories he would tell on YouTube and how open he was about certain career points.
It’s why I can appreciate how conscious Rock is with his social media and brand, which is what will should have been doing as well.

The idea was great. But, Jada really believing she's a licensed psychologist or therapist made her comfortable enough to make a clumsy spectacle of it all.
It appeared as if Jada and Will didn't even game plan before doing that table talk on the affair.
Not only that, by her words, it seemed like she groomed or manipulated August.

I appreciate your position here but the entire situation was a mess and any attempts at untangling it would naturally be messy. I agree that it didn't seem like they game planned it and I also think that's the point of the platform. Building a shared narrative and presenting it to the world on a platter would have betrayed the foundation the platform because that's a bullshyt way of dealing with real issues especially if you've made the commitment to handling your issues in an authentic and honest way.
I think Jada failed in this regard more than Will did, she ultimately knows the true nature of the relationship she had with August which means she had the power to reveal as much or as little as she felt comfortable with. Will had no such protection in his corner.
As I said, this had nothing to do with protecting his wife as his wife is now throwing him under the bus

My wife would have stopped me. Told me how dumb that was...IN PRIVATE.
But, would have rode for me in public. Would have said some ambigous shyt that wouldn't be able to be used as fodder against me.
