The Polanski situation is inexcusable and disgusting. I honestly can't offer up an explanation for that. Weinstein...even though it was apparently an open secret in Hollywood, I don't think it really crystalized in peoples minds until the whole MeToo joint popped off. It's why they updated the code of conduct and finally kicked those two out. Woody Allen is a weirdo but I guess they give him a pass on the technicality it isn't his "blood" daughter. I agree they are hypocrites but Will made the unfortunate choice of doing that shyt on live tv. If it was alleged to have happened off camera, in a setting other than the actual fukking Oscars (lmao) there wouldn't be this controversy.
