Wanda Sykes fame is damn near an invisible spec on the radar compared to Will Smith's fame.

I really don't think Chris is telling anyone what to say. These people are celebs, they do interviews and have social media, they get asked about it, they give their opinions.

I highly doubt Chris needs to call up comics to defend him. A comedian standing up doing jokes and one of the biggest stars in the world walks on the stage and hits him.....isn't going to need to call comedians all over the country to call that shyt out.

They gonna call that shyt out cause..........they comedians and a person in the crowd hit a comedian for telling a joke...this ain't rocket science....

Will gotta take the L for this one. A night like that and a man of his stature has to be able to control his emotions. A simple conversation wouldve solved the issue. Hiding behind “love”, not apologizing to Chris and partying afterward also gave an indication that he didnt give af about what he did. I wouldnt say it was “traumatizing” but it was classless.

Hopefully theyll settle for just a lengthy suspension and not a ban or a return of his Oscar.

Yeah and really Chris literally protected Will three times. One he could have fought back and made it even worse for Will. Two he could have pressed charges and three he could have taken everyones phone like Dave does then unloaded an entire clip of jokes on Will ass tonight.

Yet at every opportunity he didn't do it.

Also Chris did a story how he mentioned a dude that use to bully him in high school he gave a job to once he got on and became famous. He gave dude like a security job at the set of one of his movies to help him get back on his feet. Folks might not like Chris humor or jokes but most folks will say he ain't a vindictive type of dude like that when you catch him in the real world outside of that bad boy comedy stuff and hollyweird. He not one of those drunk with power type of stars.

I will say this he ain't no saint (we all aren't saints). But in those instances he a better man then me, cause I would not have taken the high road....my ass too fukking petty. Which is why my ass could never be in hollywood or famous.

Edit- Seems like Chris didn't give the bully the job he was just working at the set he was shooting a movie at. But he stated he could have fired him but didn't cause basically he had forgiven him.

The difference between cacs and black people is that we’ll say Will was wildling but we’ll still love him the next day. Whereas whites are looking for any reason for one of us to mess up so they can destroy us. We just here for entertainment and the moment we make a mistake we back to being a nikka. Will was wrong. Chris didn’t deserve to get slapped even if his joke was hurtful to Jada. It’s comedy and I doubt he meant anything by it. I commend Chris for being professional and for not making the situation anymore crazy than it was but we also gotta protect Will because these cacs are going to try to use this to tear down another famous black person. He’s one of our legends. Period. I wish whites didn’t get a backstage pass to what should be an insular issue.
