The concept of discretion is lost on people these days. There are those amongst us, people like you, who are more concerned with showing that everyone is fair game that you cannot see the bigger picture.
As a black man, Chris Rock should have considered the audience. I think he did consider the audience which is why I see him as a tap dancing c00n.
He cracked jokes at Jada to undermine her criticism of the Oscars. This time he cracked jokes at her appearance. In both situations, someone who was conscious would think "I'm not going undermine someone highlighting the underlying racism in the industry" and "I'm not going to get my licks in on brother's, when everyone is taking the opportunity to emasculate him, on his big day".
He wasn't conscious and got boxed as a result. People can say what they would and wouldn't have done, but I'd like to think that most brothers wouldn't press him like that in front of a wide audience. Chris got too comfortable with his c00nery.
