In the military it was a guy divorced and it was final by November . His wife got half his social security plus child support plus alimony ....in the MILITARY !!!!

More dudes sign up for being the primary bread winner. Society tends to prefer to hire men and give them larger salaries. Therefore when two people enter a relationship, most times it’s the man that decides to be the breadwinner. So when alimony is granted it reflects the society we all live in.
