If I had to pick a team to ride to Tarmon Gai’don, I would prolly rock with the Red Hand, but I fukks with Big Body Aybara heavy *super pause*

There's plenty of standard suggestions, things you could find anywhere on any generic list. So I'll go for hidden gems, like the Emberverse series which starts with Dies the Fire. Another underrated series is Across the Universe, which was totally unexpected.

I would definitely suggest Dies the Fire first though.

Lotta negative reviews at the top of the Amazon page. You willing to stake your rep to this if I put $8.99 down on the Kindle version?

By the look of the teaser you wouldn’t even know who the protagonist is. Greater emphasis should have been placed on Rand, oh well I will be there come November.

Guess their trying to play up the “mystery” of who The Dragon Reborn could be between Rand/Perrin/Mat.


In the books its apparent pretty much right away but I guess their going in another direction

Seems that way and with Rosamund Pike being one of the leads it seems that greater emphasis has been placed on her character.



If seasons 1 is following the eye of the world then we should know pretty early on. In book 1 Rand is pretty much useless anyway so it is fine. They should start building him up though from the get. We will see though once the show drops.

The showrunner says that season 1 compromises of material from Books 1,2 AND 3 so it’ll be weird if by the end of this season the audience doesn’t know who The Dragon Reborn is
