Really ? Like it’s a good well put together album but to me a big Weeknd fan saw him 3 times in concert this album kind of feels like he’s just doing a Weeknd album because it’s due . Not to mention the incessant apple shilling for this project

I feel you… but this feels like a complete close to a chapter. Literally feels like he combined all 3 eras of his career and made it flow cohesively. This project also has a bit more musical elements. “Given up on me” outro, for example is a more soulful sound we aren’t always used to hearing. I’m going to sit with the album, but first listen I’m getting everything I wanted from a new project

It sounds like he asked AI to create a Weekend album, and then he re-recorded it with his actual vocals. This isn't R&B or Pop, it sounds like some moody late 80's/early 90's CAC bullshyt.
