You know you are wrong. So stop trying to play it off.

Em didn't do shyt. Big L already had the following from the "real" and "underground"

GRODT dropped in 2003, he was already getting mention before that. People where already listening to him destroy Jay in the freestyle before that.

Just stop.

You're skewing the argument now because you lost.

Em didn't have shyt to do with Big L's hype online. Just admit you're wrong.

You got an attitude problem. I can tell. It's not good.

I'm talking about Big L's overhype that didnt exist prior to the Em shout out and how its confirmed thru the lack of acknowledgement for Lord Finesse. You talking about something else. Matter fact this is your 3rd time saying the wrong thing. U all late to the party and complaining about there not being snacks like I'm supposed to go the store just for you. Thats not happening.

Nobody heard of L but he was freestyling on the radio with jay-z, and L was the headliner.

They even switch the flow to jay by saying "back to your man" as in Big L's man

He had Lord Finesse, Kid Capri, Cam'ron and Jay-Z on his debut album,

He founded a group that Had Killa Cam (cam'ron) and murda mase (ma$e)

Dude even got 4 mics from the source for hid debut album..

AND he was signed to Columbia records,

But he had no hype tho :mjlol:

His second album had production from DJ premiere, pete rock and Ron Browze,

And had Fat Joe, Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap and (posthumous) 2pac as features

But he aint had no hype tho

:camby:
Right.. L had reach out here.. Dudes down south was messing with him lol at least the guys I ran with. People still be trying to add Big L into the greats conversation. Big L did his thing when he was here, that's why it was such a big deal when he died.

I was a huge DITC fan so you're asking the wrong one lol. Ask somebody else.

Cool.....a DITC fan would answer this next question perfectly.

As a DITC fan...can u admit that there was a big bandwagon jump on the internet towards Big L that didnt exist when he was alive?? I mean an overhype as if the way they talk about him now was how they were talking about him when he was live. U get what I'm saying? Like the way he's hyped up now was not how he was acknowledged when alive.

I was always checking for L just off the Clue stuff... But I'm from the era that actually bought Clue tapes on cassette... I could see how you'd have a different opinion of Big L's "hype" if you weren't from the northeast, or didn't get into hip hop until the Kazaa days...

I actually don't agree with that. I mean he might've gotten a little more attention when he died cause you know dead rappers get better promotion. You know who I think was overrated in death to me? Pun. I mean Pun dope but I don't know about him being as great as people want him to be.

Dude...are u really trying to tell me that underground Big L was more hyped then platinum selling Pun circa 1999 and 2000? Are u really telling me this?
