They both used the same sample from this 1972 song
sound sound sound
Drake did that with migos tooI'm pretty sure Drake tried to put him on the song, but when drake does remixes like that, he likes to get the rights to the song (according to the verified tea). The guy probably didn't want to give drake the rights to his song, so drake moved along without him. He didn't need the guy on the song because Drake only used the same sample in his song, which the guy didn't not make.
Can someone explain how he robbed him? Totally different samples
20 something odd pages of bite accusations that have been disproven and y'all still at it. Different samples and songs. What y'all hearing? lmao...Come on now. He saw that song was hot and took the sound of it. People thought hotline bling was just a remix of cha cha when it came out
What sounds similar? He definitely sharked the boy
Extremely shrewd business move, his jew side coming out
He hears a song he likes, and instead of hopping on a remix and making the other nikka money, he makes a new song which sounds similar to it but, with its own production / sample so he can get the rights to it
What sounds similar?
Different melody, hook, sample and beat..
Can you pin point the similarity to be exact?
This thread is a circus of clowns claiming the exact same thing and not one of y'all has proof...

But you can't say what they areAny unbiased listener can hear the similarity

But you can't say what they are
