I didn’t want to be this guy…but this wouldn’t have happened to the Bullets.
It did... from 1980 until 1997.

Bob Ferry kept trading for washed up veterans and the team was a perennial first round exit for many years in the 80s. Then, Ferry left and there's been even worse management since then. How Grunfeld nearly had an identical length of tenure with Ferry is mindboggling. Ferry atleast built multiple NBA Finals rosters and won a chip.

Beal regressing from even being a 2nd option on a good team is sad as hell. Dude got the bag and basically chunked up the deuces :snoop:
He's actually been pretty good this year. Efficient and has shot terrific in the clutch.

The problems are his turnovers in the clutch, his urgency or lack thereof on running back on defense, and the ball stopping. Some of that is on Wes.

In terms of efficiency and impact, Porzingis is #1 this year. He's also been very good. He was All-NBA level after the trade last year but he hasn't been at that level consistently.

Hopefully, the Celtics bomb in the playoffs. Tatum calls Brad and they decide they need to team up. Brad requests a trade. We'll probably get Brogdon and White and a pick in return. That's how this ends.

The problem I have with Brad is when he's good, shot falling, finishing at the rim, and scoring it looks great and the other deficiencies can be overlooked.

But when he's bad and forcing 4th qtr ISO takeovers, bad body language, bouncing it off his foot in crucial, moments, and not passing to wide open shooters out of double teams, only to brick layups or turn it over, he's awful in every facet and it's glaring. It's do or die with him and these last 5 games or so have put that on full display.

KP has been great for sure. I'd definitely throw money at him to stay.

And nobody on that team cares about it :mjlol: Beal got his money, Kuzma hoping to get his. I guess maybe Porzingis hopes in a couple of years a great team will sign him up.
Porzingis actually seems like he cares. He got used to winning in Dallas. So, I wasn't expecting that.

Damn, this is really awful.
wow thats insane

Poll is up. Don't think we'll see them win 50 games in our lifetimes

Anyone who lives here knows it’s organizational issues. It’s like the Hawks except it’s a political city instead of an entertainment one. But theoretically, the DC area is a more than good enough market to get and keep stars.

At least imo, the Wizards are just a horribly run franchise.

If KD would've joined the Wizards as a free agent years back that would've been a good look. I think he could've been a icon in DC

I understand why he didn’t. This a hatin ass back door yo ass kinda city so he prolly wanna stay away from that energy. Plus it’s no telling what he knows about the Wiz from being in the league.
