Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
personally i like the reunion album TOO... not more... but too.. them nikkas just have chemistry together that makes them both step up on a level they can't obtain by themselves. especially NORE. it's like his lyricism drops 4 notches when Pone ain't there... i don't know what that means, but i don't even care :blessed:

I was just listening to this album again with a big spliff last night and letting it soak in.

The incredible thing about this album is it had so many different producers involved but somehow it all seems to blend in so perfectly, you would think the album only had one producer.

The way the adlibs sounded like conversations in the background, the subtle noises in the backgrounds of songs that add to the atmospheric vibe. The only other producer that has really created such a vibe like that is the RZA and Hav.

If you want a perfect example of this, put your headphones in and listen to channel 10 and really take in all the sounds.

The outro with capone on the phone to nas and e-money bags :ohhh:

black gangstas :wow: .... this album really was a fukking movie. the slang and the way these nikkas was talking was ill

Calm Down and Married to Marijuana were taken off the album due to samples,I think if these songs were included, it would have to be the only classic album to have that amount of classic tracks on there and no filler.

The fact that nore and capone both was debut spitters fresh outta jail and just happened to have links to dope producers, some known and some unkown but still managed to put together an album that was like they had the vision their whole life. This really was a one off album that the universe aligned to making this shyt happen

What tracks do you consider filler on the infamous?

none, that makes about 12/13 tracks of stold cold classics

I must've misunderstood you then
I thought you meant the war report was close to being the only classic album with that many classic tracks and no filler
I believe the infamous is exactly that

Off topic....but as I'm re - listening these beats were so rugged...

Canibus needed these beats for his debut album and thereafter....

"Halfway Thugs" is just :banderas:....just nasty....Noreaga transforms into a one man Wu Tang on this track....:damn: :bryan:...... production is downright mind melting

Coli dont dictate shyt homie...fukk most of the opinions on this website. i'll never forget some weirdo saying Supreme Clientele had more impact on hip hop then Cubes whole career...and it got daps.

I think the one thing no one has mentioned as to why this album is special is because Capone didn't get to finish the album and he was the leader...Nore was 2nd string. But the 2nd string stepped it up and held it down and filled in the gaps while the leader was in prison and he did an excellent job....he did the job so well he took over and became the leader. At the time we didnt know it tho because we thought that when Capone came home he would take the leader role again but he never did. But at the time thats how it felt and it left an anticipation for when Capone would actually come home..That to me is why that album is so special.
