I hope these early grumblings grow, the 2 Glenn fakeouts, Rick surrounded in the caravan by zombies then next time we see him he's being chased by them and the move they pulled with negan in the finale are all signs of a show that's clearly aware of its devoted fans and are jerking their chain with the arrogance that they'll stick around regardless.

Well now there is a shiny new toy on the scene seducing fans in westworld, maybe if the ratings continue to dip they will stop taking their loyal fanbase for granted

Bad acting.... Bad storylines.

Usually the only good episodes are the premieres and the finales. It's only like 2-3 characters I like or care about. Nobody really cares about the zombies or see them as a true threat. I've just kinda given up. Everytime we think they possibly found a safe haven there is some bullshyt that results in a big fight and Rick's group looking for a new home.... I'm done (but I'll come back a watch the season finale though)

you looking for some happily ever after house on a praire? Looks like you've been watching for the wrong reason dude, I thought everyone secretly knew the thrill is that the whole cast are going to die eventually the only question is when and how :leon:

this season has been extremely slow, uneventful, and partially painful at times. they're really trying too hard to milk the show for ad dollars. cut the commercial breaks, take it down to 10 episodes, and get on with it.

edit: i agree with @SuburbanPimp all these filler actors pretty much suck. that scene with tara and the girl holding the gun on her during her escape was :scust: neither one of them could carry a scene

Well if that's the case at least make it interesting in the meantime. The shyt is very predictable and the acting is so poor that I don't even care if they all die at this point and when they try these character building episodes to get you to care they are usually boring and do very little to move the story along

My expectations aren't that high but when you watch a show like Breaking Bad or a more current example of Westworld with this show simultaneously you just kinda realize how bad it is.....

And I'm just past the point of continuing to watch a bad show just because I've invested so much time on it in the past

They're still doing great numbers though (as stated in the article). TWD will be ok.....unless they kill off Daryl (fan favorite). Talk about fan backlash....

What I do hate about the show is how they'd dedicate an episode to one character. Like they don't know how to mesh other storylines/character's backgrounds throughout an entire episode. It's very annoying.

The ending needs to be on some bittersweet Dawn Of The Dead (1978) type of shyt....:ohlawd:

The writing was on the wall 4-5 seasons ago when AMC cut this show's budget to throw more money at "Mad Men" and told "TWD" cast and crew "if you publicly complain we'll just replace you all". This is the TV equivalent of fast food.

They tried to pull the same shyt with the final season of "Breaking Bad" (wanted to cut the budget and number of episode to 8 total for season 5) but Vince Gilligan told them to eat a dikk. "BB" was owned by Sony at the time so they had leverage to negotiate and threatened to go to another network.

"TWD" is 100% owned by AMC so the cast and crew can't do jack shyt. This is also why they replaced Frank Darabont and Glen Mazzara.

Show has been wildly uneven, badly written, sloppily crafted, pulled in many directions from firing showrunners, and weaving in and out of garbage, to average, rarely making it to quality....It's been that way since the first season. Never been a great show, only had great potential, from the premise, and the pilot, which was good.
