I'm sure Kirkman and Scott Gimple are already brainstorming how to bring Rick back as a cheap excuse to scrape out a few more seasons. As long as there's still a dime left on the table or AMC finally steps in and pulls the plug there's no chance they let this shyt die with whatever small remaining shred of dignity the show has left.

They really fukked up by killing off Carl then allowing rick to leave. I haven't been rivited since negan was causing havoc. Daryl isn't a strong enough character to be the lead guy.

I think if they knew what Kirkman was gonna do.. they wouldn't have killed Carl.

Ever Show should end after 6 seasons at most. 3 if you want all the season to be an equal level of piff. Longer than that and they start writing bullshyt. Even the wire with the season about the fake serial killer was trash compared to most of the series and season 2 was weaker too.

Damn the governor never died in the comics? I know people that read the comics and watch the show be pissed off.
rick didnt see he died one of his own people killed him. but he lost his eye and arm because michonne got revenge for him raping her and cutting off ricks hand. the governor's last attack killed tyreese, axel, lori and his daughter, he lost his hand and etc it was something rick carried for a min in the comic because all he knows is he is alive. michonne told him later off panel which i thought was weak af

They strayed away from what made the show decent. People get tired of the same scenery. After a whole season at the farm, people started to get bored with the show and then they up and left after being attacked and people gained interest again. No one gives a fukk about these communities. They need to travel and find answers and a stable life.

Stopped before Negan arrived and I haven't missed it even a little bit.

I jokely said TWD will go on longer than Bonaza because they don't really have an end game and it doesn't matter, Chris Hardwick will still be there to talk about this mediocre show for years to come.

Well overdue :hhh:
I mean they milked every ounce of nutrients out of that series. It literally was snips of walking dead between commercials.

I'm still mad they killed Shane instead of having Rick run him off. Just the idea of Shane always lurking in the cut would have made things more interesting.

I think that would have the same problem TWD does IMO: There's no "goal"/endpoint they're working towards.

Yup that's the inherent problem with Walking Dead (both the show and the comic/source material): shyt got old because the focus was always about dealing with the symptoms rather than solving the problem.

That former works well for a zombie movie where the appeal is just jump scares and seeing an ensemble cast get picked apart over the course of 2 hours, with the "goal" being survive until sunrise or the military shows up.

But for a tv series, at some point you're going to lose interest either when you're favorite character inevitably dies (and is replaced) or when the protagonist done "survived" enough without shyt else to do but "survive" some more.
