Who is Roy Stark?


A lot of people are saying that this is a casting for Abraham under a decoy name. I am not too sure about that.

They hired punk ass D'Angelo Barksdale as this Roy Stark character:

Season 4 of The Walking Dead is set to return to production in May with an October planned return. Monday iDigitalTimes reported that Lawrence Gilliard Jr is being sought for the role of Roy Stark.

The Waterboy actor would be a regular for season 4.

Stark is described as a “former army medic who is deeply haunted by his past.”

There as been plenty of speculation as to whether Roy is just a code name for Abraham or someone else from the Robert Kirkman comic, or we are looking at a completely new character here.

Lawrence Gilliard Jr. is best known for his roles in Waterboy, Gangs Of New York and The Wire.

imo they should create more original characters for the tv show. i would like to see the surviving characters from the telltales walking dead games though.

my issue with this shyt, which is why i stopped reading is that kirkman isnt that great, so every story arc ended up being the same. like one dude said, they need to find a plane or some shyt, go to a different setting and MAYBE they could have more interesting story arcs other than 'find home/protect from crazy demonic other humans' shyt

I was gonna wait on the 3rd one to drop, but it prob won't happen for another 2-3 years. Gonna have to cop the individual trades.
