I saw this on youtube, and I was shocked that this happened. I don't read the comics, but I'm subscribed to a walking dead channel and they regularly talk about the comic along with the tv show.

This is true. They created "fake" comic covers and solicitations for further issues to keep it a secret that supersized issue #193 is going to be the last. Surprised they didn't make it last to 200, especially after he has said in recent months and what not that it can go on for several more years. Guess it was all just a game to keep it a secret. Still though ending on #193 is just a weird number to end on.

Makes me think the TV show only has a few more seasons left given where the TV series is in relation to the comic. After the Whisperers wraps up, only one more major arc left. Kirkman has been saying the show can go on for another 10 or more years, wonder if it's another game by him to hide that it could very likely be ending in probably another three seasons?
