Wow... I heard this album when it first came out in 2009, it made me become an even bigger K-Rino fan, but I've been deeply sleeping on this track, that was incredible :ohhh:

I hope somebody/or more than that will rep you for me. I can't believe I slept on that shyt so much, I guess it goes to my points to @Iron Chin Wilder sometimes it's an overload of greatness and you need to let it digest, I heard that song in 2009, that's 6 years ago and I've got so much from it from just listening now, so many new things, I guess I gravitated initially to other tracks, and I gave them A LOT of play and maybe I just vibed to that track but didn't fully take it in. That shyt is DEEP, relatable and POWERFUL. That was like an experience, to hear that shyt just now.

Thanks :salute:
Yea Solitary Confinement is up there of what I would put in his top 8 albums, And the song alone is dope af and relateable

Yeah, I've always rated the album highly and really enjoyed it. I even liked the song and thought it was dope, but it wasn't until you posted it again and I clicked it that I listened and read again and was like damn, this shyt is ILL... It was DEEP... :whoo:

What's some other tracks you feel are really dope/slept on ones?

Oh my god, brilliant, absolutely brilliant. The lyrics really got my mind gears grinding, the last few lines were just too satisfying. I'm mentally applauding for such intellect of lyrical story writing.

I keep finding myself speechless with every track that I come across, plus the other night just as I was about to sleep, these lyrics came to my mind 2 verses at a time. I still have no idea where they manifested from. Thank you K-Rino!

Honestly, 10/10. Literally everything was perfect from the message to the complex schemes to the multi syllable rhymes. As a rapper myself this was really impressive work, and love how Rino ended it with a message that includes everyone. Keep making hiphop man, we need more real artists representing the people!

Man I relate to this song so much, without too much detail I used to go through life place to place with a chip on shoulder just fukking up myself and other people. Not a second thought passed by til' one day I reflected and realised it had been 12 years on the road like that, just leaving destruction in my wake bla bla and never a truer word said "only you have the power to release you" needless to say a better man than that one types this today.

That was the deepest lyrics I ever heard!! I wish more music was like this. Something to make you imagine and think. Deep Thinking is a skill that a majority of people in life will not have because of the enslavement of their own mind to the garbage the media feeds the masses.

1 of the observations I had was most of the K-Rino fans in this thread were intelligent, knowledgeable, substance filled and articulate, while the hateful segment/trolls were ignorant, childish, simplistic with basic comprehension, don't understand percentages, narrow minded, disrespectful, ungrateful, negative, unpleasant individuals in general.

I think it's this hour...

Am just listening to this currently, it is a fantastic brilliant interview, to anybody interested too in K-Rino or the Deprogrammed concept or title track there's also parts where he touches on subjects of that vein. Deserves it's own thread at some point, but will just post it here for now cause it's so dope it deserves a chance to shine where it won't be lost among other K-Rino threads, very dope...

It's also hear the brother conducting the interview also saying his children etc are feeling K-Rino and asking for his music to be played.

Deprogramming :blessed:

Edit: Also evidently a true Hip Hop scholar, the history in the interview is very dope.

Oh, the power of perception. :blessed:

For me, i find the people who have been raving about K-Rino have been pseudo-intelligent, pretentious, and bigoted while some of the people who did not enjoy k-rino have been free thinkers and intelligent, or simply trolling to have fun.

The difference is you are going to continue believing that what you said are facts. While what i said is my opinion based on my perception of facts.

Still stand by my opinion of K Rino....He would be better off as a writer, his ideas about the world are asinine, for the most part, his followers are uneducated sheep desperate to find a counter-culture to fit into, his English teacher never told him the best way to describe something is to do it simply, and finally as an MC he has a good imagination for story telling but that's it.

Brother Ali > K rino's as far as "Real hip hop" is concerned.
