false.

again, chomsky doesn't have an opinion on it.

you on the other hand believe the government's story on 9/11 and dont even question it.

fail again :camby:
:mindblown: Did you watch the fukking video?!?

If you are familiar with Chomsky's diction, he says "I don't have an opinion" every time someone presents him with a claim he sees as nonsensical. He's been doing that for years. He made it abundantly clear in the vid he finds truther claims to be bullshyt.

Idk what happened its just a strange thing or we making it more than it is. In my own common sense thinking it seems the building shouldn't have came down but I'm no expert so I can be so far wrong just like everyone else. But it seems fishy. Always has since it happened. So that counts for something.

Building 7 came down as a result of debris from Tower 1 falling on it which gouged out most of the South Wall of the building and caused a fire that went uncontrolled for a few hours which further weakened the structure to the point it collapsed. Most people didn't see what was going on from the angles shot by news crews so they were under the impression that it just fell for no reason at all or was part of a controlled demolition. Footage was released later that shows the uncontrolled fires in Building 7 while the hole was witnessed by Emergency Response crews.

Whole story with footage here.....

If building 7 came down because of burning furniture then we would have skyscrapers collapsing all the time. I like Noam but I don't agree with this.

We have thermal images that show temperatures at ground zero that far exceed anything burning furnishings can produce. that's physical proof something is wrong.

Just ignore the fact that part of the building had already been destroyed by falling debris and the fire was uncontrolled for several hours which also contributed to it's collapse, brehs.

Wrong. The temperatures at those 'hot spots' are normal:

http://www.aisc.org/DynamicTaxonomyFAQs.aspx?id=1996

11.3.2. At what temperature does a typical fire burn?
The duration and the maximum temperature of a fire in a building compartment depends on several factors including the amount and configuration of available combustibles, ventilation conditions, properties of the compartment enclosure, weather conditions, etc. In common circumstances, the maximum temperature of a fully developed building fire will rarely exceed 1800°F. The average gas temperature in a fully developed fire is not likely to reach 1500°F. Temperatures of fires that have not developed to post-flashover stage will not exceed 1000°F.

In response to requests from the Environmental Protection Agency, through the US Geological Survey, NASA flies a plane over the site of the WTC complex, equipped with a remote sensing instrument called AVIRIS. AVIRIS is able to remotely record the near-infrared signature of heat. Analysis of the data it collects indicates temperatures at Ground Zero of above 800 degrees Fahrenheit, with some areas above 1,300 degrees. On September 16, dozens of “hot spots” are seen, but by September 23, only four or five remain.

:snoop: Did you read the NIST report or just skim through it?

The uncontrolled blaze caused a 13th floor girder to break off of the main column, creating a collapse of the floor that continued like a domino effect.

Cherry-picking is more a deliberate act of deception than a logical fallacy, but nevertheless an extremely common tactic.

Cherry-picking happens when someone deliberately selects from a wide variety of material only those items which support the conspiracy theory, while ignoring and discarding those which don't. When this carefully chosen selection of material is then presented as a whole, it easily misleads people into thinking that the conspiracy theory is supported by evidence.

This is an especially popular tactic for the 9/11 conspiracy theorists: They will only choose those published photographs which support their claims, while outright ignoring those which don't. The Loose Change "documentary" is quite infamous for doing this, and pulling it out rather convincingly.

The major problem with this is, of course, that it's pure deception: The viewer is intentionally given only carefully selected material, while leaving out the parts which would contradict the conspiracy theory. This is a deliberate act. The conspiracy theorists cannot claim honesty while doing clear cherry-picking.

Wrong. The temperatures at those 'hot spots' are normal:

Bechtel engineers, responsible for safety at Ground Zero, wrote in the Journal of the American Society of Safety Engineers: “The debris pile at Ground Zero was always tremendously hot. Thermal measurements taken by helicopter each day showed underground temperatures ranging from 400ºF to more than 2,800ºF.”
The fact that high-temperature phenomena were an important issue at Ground Zero is underscored by the large number of thermal images acquired: images by SPOT, MTI, AVIRIS/NASA, "Twin Otter"/U.S. Army, and at least 25 images by EarthData, taken between Sept. 16 and Oct. 25. In addition, temperature measurements by helicopter were taken each day, and the firefighters used onsite sensors too.

No steel was melted......

Metals lose about 50% of their strength at 60% of their melting temperature. This is common knowledge and may be found in any undergraduate text regarding "Fracture and Deformation of Materials."

Here is a .pdf explaining it in detail.....

http://jpkc.fudan.edu.cn/picture/ar...92d0/d6f27325-5a22-4523-876f-9caa6348023f.pdf

Steel melts at 2500 degrees F. 60% of that is 1500 degrees which is within parameters of the temperatures @ Ground Zero.

Start at page 157 and read through it.

Try again.
