Things can go left very quick. Yes corporations run the country but they can do little to subdue civil unrest. And once you get past a certain point of civil unrest it tends to spiral very quickly. The elites will just bunker down in their gated fortresses while Americans slaughter each other. And if there are factions of the military fighting each other its a wrap.
And I wouldn't be surprised if billionaire elites eventually started organizing their own militia groups to fight for power and influence. Civil war in America would be exceptionally violent and protracted.

The way I see it those Billionaire elites will be the first people to tell their local governor to call in the National Guard and get things put in order.

If anything these last few years have shown me is that everything tends to start acting right when those armored vehicles start rolling up. I think Civil War gets squashed before it ever gets started.

I could be wrong, but my bet is we never find out.

I'm sad for those girls who died, but a mother and two of her babies were killed in an arson attack by a white man. There was barely any coverage on this yet WE never rioted or formed mobs. When black folks were rioting all across the country back in 2011 after Mark Duggan was killedby the police, I remember all the hand wringing from the media, but we weren't going around randomly attacking white folks.
