That wasnt exactly a response friend.
The people getting shot in Chicago are generally "involved". And I'm not sure how more guns would stop strays. You want Chicago teens to stop shooting each other, close the channels through which they get guns. Some third party having guns won't do shyt. I didnt think such a simple + obvious concept was worth an explanation... I consider this post my good deed for the day

Im sure the state officials know where they're getting the guns from, i just dont think they care. Stripping self defense from normal citizens and giving access of guns to kids, doesnt seem like something that should be happening in a 1st world country unless its by design.

I agree with you on that, from a gut perspective, but w/o proof I dont really like to entertain such "theories".

But like Furious Styles said... black people dont own ports or boats... so where do all the drugs come from? Likewise we dont own any gun companies or even distributors... so where do the guns come from? This country can track tomatoes from their farms to grocery stores, but somehow has no idea how guns are getting into the hands of inner city teenagers? :ld:

I still think if you want to stop the violence you have to stop illegal gun traffic. And I think if the state were committed to it it would be very easy to do.

Obviously. How much money was spent to get a man with a 200 billion dollar net worth out of power. Sadly, and this is only speculation i feel the reason guns trafficing will never be truely policed is because it will step on two many toes and friendships of people associated with policing the trafficing industry.

It's not that simple. You can't search every car coming into the state. A lot of the guns come from Indiana, a lot come from southern Illinois, and some come from Wisconsin and Michigan. The demand for illegal guns is high in Chicago, and people are making a lot of money getting them there. Illinois as a state and Cook County as a county have restricted guns to the point, the only ones that feel the effects are law abiding citizens. These lil bangers from the city are not going to gun shows and using loopholes in the law to get guns. They gun them from the Russians, and Italians and then all the little stragglers sellin small arms trying to make a quick buck. It's all black market. The way they get their guns is already highly illegal. Making the laws stricter won't solve anything.

You know in Chicago, people get arrested for possessing a handgun, even if they use it to protect themselves during an intrusion. The Supreme court finally concluded that Cook County could not stop people from owning handguns, so Mayor Daley (at the time), wrote up a law that said you have to take a course and get a license, and if Im not mistaken it's 500 bucks total, and you have to own the gun to take the course. Dont quote me on that, but basically, it's extremely difficult for the general public to obtain in a timely manner. Even still, after you have the licensing, you can only have the gun in you immediate dwelling. So if you go out to your garage with your gun, you're breaking the law. It doesn't make sense.

Now Illinois is developing a concealed carry law (another fight they lost in the Supreme Court). There are ways to responsibly handle guns. Education is probably the best way. and I mean for law abiding citizens. Criminals don't really care about gun safety.

The only people that become disarmed with more strict gun laws are the citizens, who need the guns the most.

10 years from now we'll be able to print guns from our home computers.

Maybe sooner.

It really doesn't matter where or how they got the guns... unless they got them from the Russians.

People who dont know about how the black market and demonic underworld work think its nothing to stop the flow of guns. They dont understand how organized crime plays a big part in many of these demonic markets. They look to other countries and say, well what about them, not realizing that those people never had a constitution declaring that men have the right to bare arms and a people who live by and respect that decision. Also, they dont understand the complacency organized crime has in going in the governments direction. I guess theres a segment of America that is ready to do away with what the nation is built on in favor of socialism/communism.

if all guns have a serial # when manufactured ,why is it so hard to make dealers accountable for losing or reporting false robberies on their merchandise

Japan, but from the 989
I think its time to crack down on the illegal gun market. Seriously those guys didn't have gun licenses but they had enough guns and explosives to give police serious problems. The next phase of the investigation should come down hard on whoever sold them the guns and the materials for the explosives.
