The "states withholding federal taxes" mantra is nothing but political pandering & a pie in the sky theory rooted in fantasy.

Can someone explain to me why Democrats continue to harp on their wildly unpopular position on voter ID requirement?
How the fukk does anyone even function in this society without an ID? Can’t open a bank account, can’t cash a check, can’t drive, can’t travel by plane or train, can’t apply for a job, can’t apply for benefits, can’t rent an apartment, hotel or car. I mean if you can’t find the time to get an ID to do any of that stuff how the fukk would you find the time to vote? Just get a damn ID if you want to vote.
Over 80% of Americans agree that ID should be required. There’s very few issues where Americans overwhelmingly agree on the same thing yet the Democrats want to disagree with the American public.

EVER. Black governor, Black senator, voted Blue. Taxes are high as hell, but we got great parks, free activities, great parking, great public transportation, hardly any extreme weather, and it's relatively clean.

The IRS doesn't have an Army, Navy, Air Force or Space Force.
It's underfunded as it is.
The idea that a Governor can't do this, in the era of Trump who's broken all types of norms, codes, rules, and laws - is ludicrous.
The better question is how could the State of California actually accomplish this. The logistics would be a nightmare.
It would be harder for the IRS to get the funding then it would for Cali to do this or even secede.
