As much as I like the spectacular spiderman vibes & dynamics of the new spidey flicks, I was semi dissappointed that they turned Mary Jane into this...

I was the super sarcastic witty “didnt care what people thought”, independent, didn’t follow cliques, start my own clique, smart ass type of teenage girl in high school so Daria was kind of relatable to me but I’m not white so it was a different type of vibe.
Maryjane was more of the moody, depressed, nothing goes right, sulk around “Alanis Morisette” type of chick. Built up a wall that no one can get in to protect themselves, wear black nail polish and dark clothes.
This was the typical hipster, sad/moody Lonely inner conflict teen angst theme music “it’s a dammmmn cold night, trying to figure outttttt this life”

I used to love this show “Victorious”, I used to rock with Jade and her Sarcastic “mean girl” attitude, just straight up, no filter or chaser - you either like me, her or ya don’t.
