Look how much crispier/clearer the mgs4 shot looks. Snakes suit and hair look better. The textures are more detailed. The only thing that looks better on 5 is draw distance and lighting. Which makes sense. Some sacrifices were made due to the larger scope of the game.MGSIV looks better than V?

You can't say it's visually unimpressive without talking about the tech. They go hand in hand. It's impossible to separate the two.

No other game really has that issue with new game looking on par with it's old one.
Uncharted running on an iteration of a ps3 engine shows how good it is. Nobody is debating UC4 visuals with UC3.
