I will not be supporting this. I remember watching the color purple with my family when I was younger...but the older I got, I was really sickened by the depictions of black men as oppressors in the film.

Anything that promotes anti black missandry and hate towards black men I am violently opposed to.

Also Alice Walker is a bedwench who apparently abandoned her own daughter and doesn't contact her anymore and thought of being a mother as a burden.
