Slow at first... but it really does pick up. I think I have read this twice so far.

I've gone and read it all back during each break...can't help my damned self, there's so much foreshadowing that's easy to overlook until way later that it's been worth it. Or maybe I just need more manwha and manga to start following, I've only been keeping up with two on a weekly basis. The rest I take breaks from and read in batches by the arc.

Shiieet i gotta disagree, the Tower was way more dark in the beginning

Everyone was casually murdering each other

We aint forget Drossi was with rachel and akyrung when they murked the 97 other regulars on the 2nd floor :damn:

My boy Quant puttin the fear of god in them nikkas during that hide n go seek shyt :wow:

Rachel stabbing Baam and leaving him for the fishes :wow:

Leroro watchin all this death with the :russell: face

Imo it only got slow when Baam met up with Wangnan and them, turned back up when Koon found them again

The one thing about the early portion is that the artwork isn't as consistent and crisp. If I'm remembering right, SIU was having wrist issues too which may have played a role. But the floor of test is still one of my favorite arcs from start to finish and the only complaint I have is that I wish the artwork were as good as it is nowadays.

Sidenote: Surprisingly, on my last pass through it was the Hell Train that dragged a bit. The Daniel and the gang backstory that establishes White doesn't really hit that well for me although the game with the characters falling toward lava damn near saves everything about that section for me.

I must be weird then cuz i fukked with how quirky the art was. Gave it a whole different vibe that made the savage shyt even more cut throat to me

Yeah fam, Ran has a run where he's in my favorite fights of each arc for a while. The swordsman match-up and him being the focal point against the guardian on the train were both fire too. The Workshop tournament was where they had the match-ups or am I mixing it up? Because I remember the Workshop battle having some epic challenges and all of the top teams. That arc is crazy!

I want them to raid the workshop after all the useful items they got out of that one tournament. A thorn, Bong Bong and Koon's dagger all from one arc and location. Plus you got the Emily app for Rachel's crew. One Shot One Kill, the closest we've gotten to a tournament arc and then the summoning game was flames too! It's between the Evankhell's hell and Workshop Battles for my favorite games. The Crown Game was a gem and full team vs Ranker trial wound up being one of the most epic parts of the early game to me.
