Yeah, I think Evankhell and maybe Madarako will have more information for what's going on with the Elders turning on slayers in this arc. It seems like Evankhell is about to find out and Madarako has been present in more arcs than I'd recalled when I re-read the series.
There's also the jahad princess civil war brewing which I think will bleed into a revolution against Jahad. So there's even more madness playing out that we haven't heard much about but that has been slipped into the mix.
And co-sign the ranker level Baam hype. Every time there's someone who has artificial power to gift, somehow Baam winds up stealing it, so I'm wondering if he'll get another bump before this arc closes. It seems like he's still got a big chunk of this season before he can actually approach Kallavan; maybe another thorn shard helps him start moving closer to the high ranker level.

I think the author will give Rachel the Thorn. But in exchange, Baam will take the crystal from Kallavan. Also, Baam powering up without using any of his enhancements (Thorn, inner monster, ignition) has been a blessing to behold. Although if White takes those souls from Baam, Baam is gonna be depowered a bit.

If you've seen the RAWs, Baam has been saved. It's a legit save though.

I think Evankhell is gonna give Baam permission to activate at some point but I'm not sure if it'll be in this arc or saved for the Kallavan fight. I'm still wondering if they'll find a way to give him a power up related to the canine powers since it was offered to him and he interacts with power ups in ways that others don't. It feels like whenever we see these sorts of power ups, he absorbs them somehow and there's also whatever the fang is significant for.
